The VP2 utilizes a 3D spacer mesh that provides a plush honeycomb softness against your skin while maintaining maximum breathability. Featuring 2 24oz BPA free bottles in the back, 2 mesh chest pockets, 2 mesh shoulder pockets, and a rugged shock cord in the back for jackets. This pack is extremely light, extremely breathable, stable under speed yet comfortable for the long haul.

The way to fit this pack is to clip the front chest harness (don't tighten), then cinch the sides nice and snug while leaving the front chest strap loose. This tension is very important as it controls the fit from the sides and the front chest strap once set won't have to be readjusted.

Perfect!

Once I adjusted the straps appropriately - this hydration vest is perfect. Lots of places to stash nutrition and phone during long runs. No bounce and easy accessibility to water bottles. There is the sloshing sound but that doesn’t bother me at all.

1st run

I just ran 12 miles using this pack for the first time. It was a mixture of paces, 15 min warm up, 5x12 mins at best possible pace, 15 min cool down. When i started out i was not very impressed with the pack, the weight of the bottles pulls the pack too far down your back instead of up on your shoulders. This makes the side straps cut into your underarms too tightly. There is no strap to tighten it on your shoulders either. If they added one i would give this pack a 5/5. After i had drank a quarter out of each bottle the pack stayed in position on my shoulders even at a sprint and it felt more comfortable. It does feel weird if you don't drink each bottle evenly. The material is light and feels good. Overall i give it a 4/5.

Orange Mud, LLC

Hey Tyler!

Thanks for the feedback! It takes a few runs to get the adjustments of the pack right. The key is to cinch the sides snug first which is what anchors it on your shoulders, then set the front accordingly. Once tensioned right you should be able to drink unevenly in the back without issue and will have no movement!

Thanks!

Josh

Awesome!

I usually don’t write reviews but felt the need after using this bad boy! I hate hip packs, I hate water bladders and with that being said this pack helped with my posture, never moved and was perfect for the South Florida heat.

Hot weather must-have

You don't have to be doing ultras and Ironman events to get great use out of this pack. Today was a perfectly ordinary training day, mile run to a steep hill, sprints up the hill for about 20 minutes, then a few more easy miles. It was hot and humid in Chicago and by the time I was done, I only had a few sips in each bottle (I keep water in one and an electrolyte drink in the other).

As others have said, the fit is great and your bottles go in and out of the holsters like magic.
