The VP2 utilizes a 3D spacer mesh that provides a plush honeycomb softness against your skin while maintaining maximum breathability. Featuring 2 24oz BPA free bottles in the back, 2 mesh chest pockets, 2 mesh shoulder pockets, and a rugged shock cord in the back for jackets. This pack is extremely light, extremely breathable, stable under speed yet comfortable for the long haul.

The way to fit this pack is to clip the front chest harness (don't tighten), then cinch the sides nice and snug while leaving the front chest strap loose. This tension is very important as it controls the fit from the sides and the front chest strap once set won't have to be readjusted.

Awesome!

I usually don’t write reviews but felt the need after using this bad boy! I hate hip packs, I hate water bladders and with that being said this pack helped with my posture, never moved and was perfect for the South Florida heat.

Hot weather must-have

You don't have to be doing ultras and Ironman events to get great use out of this pack. Today was a perfectly ordinary training day, mile run to a steep hill, sprints up the hill for about 20 minutes, then a few more easy miles. It was hot and humid in Chicago and by the time I was done, I only had a few sips in each bottle (I keep water in one and an electrolyte drink in the other).

As others have said, the fit is great and your bottles go in and out of the holsters like magic.

Double Barrel Vest Pack

This vest is awesome fits well. Doesn't cause any chaffing and holds enough water for a decent length run. The two bottles are also easy and quick to fill at aid stations during longer events. An added bonus of having two bottles is one can be electrolytes and the other just water which helps extend runs comfortably.

Best vest in the game.

I’ve tried several top brands and by far this is my favorite and only go to. I love the bottles and they are easily within reach, plenty of pockets for gear/phone, and if you add the mod bag you have even more room. Plus I train in AZ so never wear a shirt and this vest does not chafe at all and allows breathing. You won’t be disappointed.

Takes some breaking, then it's fantastic!

I had been eyeing the Orange Mud hydration systems for a while and finally took the plunge with the Hydraquiver Vest. With two rear pockets for bottles, two front pockets for nutrition (or small bottles or soft flasks) and 2 stretchy shoulder pockets (I use one for oversized phone), and a bungee on the back, it carries all I need for longer treks, taking up minimal amount of space!

I tested this vest out on a 50k, running shirtless. I found that the first few runs that if you have larger shoulders/traps, you're likely going to chafe under the arms on your sides. I had to really play with fit on a few different runs and run pack thru washing machine once (I'm a salty sweater) to finally get it fitted to where it doesn't rub. In pacing at a 100mile this weekend, I may apply tape to sides between vest and body to eliminate rub all together. Carrying my phone in upper shoulder pocket makes for easy access getting it out and putting it back in on the run, tho I don't like how it digs into the front of my shoulder, so I'm still playing with the fit of that. The bottles are very easy to access and put away, and I've already taken a couple of falls and rolled on steep descents and both bottles stay in place, which is awesome! The sloshing of emptying bottles right behind the head can get annoying unless you run with an earbud in your ear - in which case you don't even notice it. The material the vest is made of feels very durable but rough. It can really irritate skin if rubbing…
