Accessory Bag for VP2Sold Out
Looking for more storage on the VP2 or just a good accessory bag? This little bag is built tough and though simple in design, it's high in utility. Featuring a secure key clip, spandex storage pocket, and tough YKK zippers, this pack will take you places. It's easy to install too. Just undo the velcro back and slip through the top and bottle nylon webbing in the rear cargo area. Note this works great on the HydraQuiver Vest Pack 2 but can be used on the Double Barrel.
It works great as a small first aid kit, storage of headlamps, and other key items. Storage - 96 cubic inches of storage, 8" tall by 4" wide x 3" tall. Graphic shows once installed, you can still use the shock cord on the back for compression. VP2 obviously not included. Made in the Vietnam.
The accessory bag is a great addition for the Vest Pack 2.0! It has a snug fit between the water bottles; I honestly cannot tell that I added the accessory bag while out running. It's a great location for the important items that I wish to carry along, but do not need to reach for as frequently (for example, I store a mylar emergency blanket, hand warmers, and snacks during the winter while snowshoe running). Now that I have more room in my front pockets of the Vest Pack 2.0, I would consider adding smaller soft water bottles for ultra trail distances in the future. The accessory bag also allows extra space to carry items for my dog, when she accompanies me on a run.
**An additional positive comment of the vest pack 2.0, while snowshoeing... I have significantly less snow on my water bottles due to the "higher" location of the bottles on my back!
Accessory Bag for VP2
I love the accessory bag for the VP2. I was looking for a little more room to store gloves and rain gear on long trail runs and this was the perfect solution. Easy to attached and remove and fits so secure that you don't even feel it back there.
Accessory Bag - Forgot it was there
I got this for P2P 100 to store a soft flask for when the temps heated up to get some extra water. I also stored my head lamp and sun block there. There was plenty of room left over for more stuff. It was the first time I've used it and didn't even know it was back there. It was great to have that extra flask and a place to put the head lamp and sun block to give even more room for food in the front pockets.
