Version 3.0 is now released! Stability, breathability, and quick access pockets on the Endurance Pack make it perfect for any endurance event. It features a highly breathable and durable mesh that transfers heat quickly away from your body, yet is still soft on your skin. We balance the use of stretchy materials where needed, but use firm materials where we need to maintain stability of fluids and gear. This pack is excellent for carrying your fluids, plus sized phone, electrolytes, and essentials while running and riding!

What's different with version 3.0 over 2.0? 3.0 has:

  • Solid, non stretchy, nylon straps on the front chest adjustments for a cinch tight and no slip fit.
  • We've added a structurally tough elastic into the side for just a bit of stretch to conform with chest breathing while still maintaining stability.
  • Trekking pole anchor points are in the front of the pack, as well as the back.
  • Added hang loop for hanging the pack up.
  • Change to elastic strap retainers on the side from rigid plastic.

Note there are two version of trekking pole hardware attachments. Front or rear mounting.

The key to fit, cinch the sides first, not the front, until you feel the pack anchor on your shoulders. Then adjust the front harness as needed so you can breathe during movement.

  • Mountain Bike: Extremely stable on your body across the choppy stuff, and we extended the shoulder area a bit to allow freedom of movement. 4 front pockets allow for quick access of your essentials on the fly.
  • Running: Short runs or as long as you want to go. This hydration pack is loaded with features to take you any distance.
  • Hiking: The conforming fit and quick access pockets paired with a very breathable frame means hiking bliss.

Fit: This pack is designed to be friendly with your curves. Just slide the sliders up and down to find the optimal fit and adjust the sides snug. Max chest size is around a 52” chest. If you need bigger let us know and we will add more to them!

Great setup for ultra running

I love the variety and location of all of the compartments. It does a great job at holding everything I need for my long runs including my water and food. It’s comfortable to wear for many hours during the run.

My Second Endurance Pack!

I love this pack. I used my first one through several marathons and with extra bladders on the ultras. I gave that one to a friend and he loved it also on his first marathon. Since my injury, I haven't needed another until I recently purchased a sport touring motorcycle with the intent of traveling long distance. I bought this second one to wear under my jacket and have it handy for hydration. I will continue to buy Orange Mud products since they seem to be indestructible. Love it and endorse this unreservedly!!!

Great pack

Received my Endurance pack last week and put it though it’s paces this past weekend at the Killington Spartan Beast both Saturday and Sunday and it didn’t disappoint. I used the bladder Saturday and flask Sunday, didn’t have an issue with either being uncomfortable. Pack sits great on the back and has just enough room for nutrition and extras.

Great, almost perfect (destroys food & needs bit more volume)

I've used this pack extensively on trail runs and a couple of rides in S. California. The fit is incredible and it is easy to forget that it is there. I particularly like how it sits high between the back of my shoulders rather than down low like a traditional pack. The quality of the construction is great and better than some of the pictures on the website suggest.

I find it has some shortcomings:

1) I like to eat "normal/real" food such as crackers, fruit, PB&Js when out for long runs rather than a bunch of pre-packaged "engineered nutrition" bars and gels. But these just get trashed and smashed in the pockets that sit on top of the shoulder (usually while taking in and out of the pocket). If using flasks in the front pockets the shoulder-top pockets are the only place to put food in reach while on the move.

2) the main body of the pack has very little room when using the 2L bladder. Any food you try to store is there will get smashed (see above) unless it is a bar or the like. And with a bladder there is barely room for a shell and some arm warmers. The add-on pocket sucks and just loosely flops around on back of the pack...but it was a nice idea. They make a 12L pack, but if they just added 1-2L to this it would be perfect.

3) for cycling, the pack sits way to high on the shoulders for my taste. When riding a bike, I'm much prefer a pack that was closer to my center of gravity rather up high on my shoulders. But that's a matter of personal preference. And…

Best Hydration Pack of all time!!!

I've trained endurance for 2 hot Texas summers in this pack! On my long runs this pack doesn't move, bounce, or chafe (as long as you keep synching the chest straps). It holds enough liquid where I can run around 18 mi in late Aug (temp ~100F) and it has plenty of room for fuel. This will be the only pack I train/race in for the forceable future!
