Looking for an awesome Polartec running jacket? Or are you about to tackle an epic mountain bike ride in iffy weather? We have a high performance jacket for you.
We love making high performance gear that not only performs, but looks good too. We took a base of Polartec fabric, made a cut that fits great, a shoulder pocket for lightweight essentials, added thumbholes, then accent stitching. It's perfect as a base layer, over the top of a t-shirt, and great for just hanging out. The pocket on the shoulder is for gels, sunglasses, a buff, etc. A phone fits in there great too, up to a iPhone 6,8,10, 25....+, but that weight won't be stabilized so we wouldn't recommend that for running.
Sizing note. These fit pretty true to size. That being said, if you wear a medium normally, the medium jacket will fit snug over a shirt. If you want it loose, order up. They fit nearly identical to our 1/4 zip. Sizing is unisex also. Size XS is equivalent to a women's medium. Size XXS is equivalent to a women's small. Note the sizing chart in the pictures.
The Adventure Jacket is available in sizes XXS through XS and fits true to size. For a snug fit over a shirt, order your normal size. For a looser fit, we recommend sizing up. Please refer to the sizing chart in the product images for detailed guidance.
The jacket is made from 231gsm Polartec fabric (93% polyester / 7% spandex) featuring grid channels that help reduce weight while increasing warmth. It performs exceptionally well for cold weather running, mountain biking, and layered outdoor adventures.
Yes. The shoulder pocket is ideal for gels, sunglasses, buffs, or other small items. It can hold a phone up to iPhone 10 size, though carrying heavier items while running is not recommended.
Absolutely. The Adventure Jacket features a unisex cut. Size XS is roughly equivalent to a women’s medium, and XXS fits similarly to a women’s small. Please consult the sizing chart for precise fit details.
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and hang to dry to maintain performance, fit, and the Polartec fabric’s warmth and flexibility. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners.
It fits me well and allows me much flexibility.
I wore this recently for a Thanksgiving race that was 27*F and I actually got overheated by mile 2! The adventure jacket is a staple for cold weather running. You are guaranteed to stay warm! Pocket on the arm is great for stuffing keys and/or snacks. Highly recommend!!!
Wore this jacket this pass Saturday during The Best Dam 5k run. It finally was cool enough(42 degrees) to wear this jacket and it kept me warm during pre run, while running and post run. Another great Orange Mud product.
