Really nice when you need some (but not TOO much) water

What's interesting about this thing is that it really feels like almost nothing on your back, arms, arm pits, etc. Really a nice way to carry just one bottle when that's all you need. Easier than a waist belt, just seems less hassle overall. Love mine and very pleased with it, as I have been with <all> my various Orange Mud products. Get one - you won't be disappointed!!

Best water bottle carrier

I’ve tried a number of bottle carrier during my runs and hated everyone one of them. This orange mud just works and you won’t even feel the bottle. I’ve done multiple 10+ miles in extreme humidity and this was a life saver. Expensive but i will definitely be using it. Seems to be very well made too.

Zero Bounce with the 24 Ounce

Loving the HydraQuiver single barrel— it really has Zero bounce and only took few miles to get comfortable with the underarm straps— now I don’t even notice. I use it on roads and trails. Have run about 35-40 total miles with it so far— having nothing across the chest is excellent and I barely feel it on my upper back and does not heat up my back like some other traditional systems. Easy to pull bottle in and out. I still use my running flip belt to hold my phone as the compartments on the hydraquiver are pretty small. Will use this on trail marathon this Fall where I need to carry water but also have water stops where I can re-fill the 24 ounce bottle.

Perfect for me and my pup!

I was searching for something that I could carry water for my dog on our trail runs. Water isn't available past 1.5 miles in. I needed to have something when we were on our 6-8 miles runs. I swapped the bottle for a "dog friendly" model. This pack is totally adaptable for different size bottles. I gave it a real test on a hot humid morning wearing a sleeveless tank. No chafe! Extremely happy and Fisher even shared his water with me!

Surprisingly comfortable!

I hate holding a water bottle while running and don't love the feel of a water bottle on my waist either. I have a hydration vest that I love, but it's a hassle to fill the bladder and generally not worth it for shorter runs. I was hoping the HydraQuiver would be a nice balance for shorter runs (or on routes where I can refill the bottle). It turned out to be exactly what I was looking for - it's easy to grab and go, but has the comfort of a traditional hydration vest.

The HydraQuiver felt awkward when I first put it on and I was convinced it was going to chafe (as I almost always run in tanks), but within a few minutes of the run, it felt very comfortable. I took it on a six mile run this morning. Nothing chaffed. The straps that go under the arms were soft enough they didn't irritate my skin, the pack was small enough I didn't feel hot, and there was minimal bouncing. Looking forward to trying it on longer runs!
