These are really good arm coolers -- works well in cool morning, but big benefit is sun protection during the mid-day. I like the pockets -- have only used for ice storage, but could also store snacks.

Like a few others, as an average build guy (not overly muscular, not skinny like a pro cyclist) I found that the XL fit better and were more comfortable than the L.

Great sleeve! Does everything claimed, you are not getting a modern phone in the pocket but perfect for ipods and 2 gels. Warm in the cold, and if you get them a little damp they can definitley cool you down in the sun.

I would recommend sizing 1 up from the size chart. I definitely dont have the biggest arms but getting it up onto my bicep is a little tight

My friend has a set of these and loves them. I have only used them once thus far but they are amazing and fit well. Seems like they should have no issues holding up to the ruggedness of the trails.

I bought the sleeves to cover my arms during the heat or shield the sun my arms were getting on the ride. I measured my arms as required to find out the sleeves run tight. It would be suggested that you order one size up. They fit very snugly and have provided some relief from the direct sun. I think they will also be warm in the winter once we get there.
