The VP2 utilizes a 3D spacer mesh that provides a plush honeycomb softness against your skin while maintaining maximum breathability. Featuring 2 24oz BPA free bottles in the back, 2 mesh chest pockets, 2 mesh shoulder pockets, and a rugged shock cord in the back for jackets. This pack is extremely light, extremely breathable, stable under speed yet comfortable for the long haul.Â
The way to fit this pack is to clip the front chest harness (don't tighten), then cinch the sides nice and snug while leaving the front chest strap loose. This tension is very important as it controls the fit from the sides and the front chest strap once set won't have to be readjusted.Â

I used to run with a full 2-liter bladder vest but found it to be difficult to fill and clean. I tried out the single barrel for shorter runs and found the concept to work well. For Marathon runs I purchased the Vest Pack 2 bottle set up from Orange Mud and this provided such a great solution that I sold off my 2-liter bladder vest and have used this on a Marathon and an Ultra. It's comfortable, rides high on the back and doesn't bounce around. The semi-clear bottles it comes with allows you to easily mix any additives and also allows you to meter your fluid intake by mileage or time. This is critical and something you just don't have any idea with the bladder type vests. Great product, the only suggestion I have is maybe an extra zip pocket in the back under the straps.

this is my first running vest and so far it is a good product. The fit is decent but the sides of the vest end up very close to my armpit which i don't love. no major chafing after a 12 mile run though. i have not had any issues with getting the water bottles in or out of the holster while running and they even stayed in place while crashing to the ground after tripping on a root

I bought this pack after running the Silver State 50 mile race this past May. I felt I needed something faster in the aid stations. This pack is considerably faster. It holds more gear than I expected and doesn't hold the heat in like my old one. Recently I paced a friend for 50 miles of the TRT100. I was able to get in, get my liquids filled, help my runner and take care of my needs without slowing him at all.
It takes a few tries to get the right feel for adjusting the straps, but it's well worth it. The pack rides well and the bottles are easier to remove and replace than it looks. After the first run it became second nature, even with my non-dominate hand.

I love everything about it. I can carry tailwind and water. The pockets have massive amount of storage. It rides high on my back so it does not hold heat it. And no chafing. Even though I feel short of my goal by 8 miles at Honey Badger 100, this pack helped me just keep moving. It was perfect for the heat.
