Perfect for supported races

This was a great upgrade to the originalHydraQuiver.

I used this pack in a recent 100-miler and it was exactly what i needed:

- Big, deep double pockets up front. Inner pocket has a draw string to tame soft flasks. Outer pocket has Velcro with a big, easy-to-grab pull tab - ideal for chafe cream, ear buds, and gels.

- Pockets on top of each shoulder were great for a baggie of salt tabs and a first aid / blister pack.

- Thin deep pockets on each shoulder blade held two Tailwind packets per pocket, which was just right between drop bags.

- Shock cord on left shoulder blade held packable rain coat securely.

- Overall build quality, materials, and durability have been great in my experience.

- Lastly and most importantly, the quiver held my water bottle securely with no bounce. it was easy to remove and replace with a tapered entry. Using a bottle made getting in and out of aid stations WAY easier. No bladder to remove and fumble around with. I could just hand my bottle to an aid station volunteer or swap out bottles with my crew. In and out in minutes.

Also, I'm a very sweaty guy prone to dehydration. The biggest draw to me for using this pack is that a bottle allows me to closely monitor my hydration intake. Bladders keep me guessing and I have had to drop races for under-hydration using a bladder.

My only complaints would be:

- as a slightly pudgy guy, the thin straps under the arms tend to push out a little fat and cause arm rub / chafing. I don't have this problem…

Great vest!

I highly recommend this pack, I wear this when I’m going out for a run, ride or during races. It has plenty of room to carry everything you need to keep going all day.

Quiver Me Timbers!

This vest pack is unique and one of my favs! I use it on all my bike adventures. I wasn’t sure how I would like the bottle placement, but it worked great for me and it’s easy to access/return. Once I figure out how to adjust the overall fit, it was in there like swimwear! HydraQuiver has all the tech features I need and plenty of storage for the long haul.

Newbie. Pack is comfortable and easy to get used to.

I bought this pack for running. I am training for a 70.3 triathlon, and I found that I need water and nutrition at least every 2-4 miles. So I was looping back by my house every 2.5 miles. Having the pack freed me for longer runs. It has nice design features, its comfortable and of good quality. It has convenient places for energy shots, my phone, ID, and of course water. I was concerned about how it would feel but pretty much got used to it in 1/2 mile. I have also found that I can easily reach back and replace the water bottle. Also, something not mentioned on the website, the bottle holder is adjustable for taller bottles with a clever velcro strap.

Great Gear

Recently purchased this for a hiking trip in Texas. Texas in late June you need to have water handy and this works great. The shoulder pockets had room for wallet, phone, keys, sun screen and a granola bar which, for me, is wonderful because I don't like to hike around with stuff in my pockets. I will continue to use it for running and cycling.
