Utilizing a highly breathable and durable mesh, this pack is here for the long haul. The entire structure has a good bit of stretch, but we worked to find the balance of maintaining form while allowing plenty of movement in this design. This pack is excellent for running, hiking, biking, and more. The key to fit is to cinch down the sides first, then adjust the front per your desire. The front harness has a lot of adjustability while being super stretchy too.
  • Mountain Bike: Extremely stable on your body across the choppy stuff, and we extended the shoulder area a bit to allow freedom of movement. 4 front pockets allow for quick access of your essentials on the fly.
  • Running: Short runs or as long as you want to go. This hydration pack is loaded with features to take you any distance.
  • Hiking: The conforming fit and quick access pockets paired with a very breathable frame means hiking bliss.
Fit For Ladies: This pack is designed to be friendly with your curves. With multiple anchor points on each side and stretch elastic for the cross connect, you can configure it to fit your shape. The adjustability in sizing is very broad to cover nearly every size and shape. Video on fit here.
Fit For Guys: This will fit up to about a 52" chest. When loaded things will change a bit, but we took the front shoulder depth and made it deeper than the Vest Packs (in case you're familiar with that fit). So a tad more girth and more vertical shoulder room.

Lifesaver!

Awww - I’ve been running distance races for a decade and have always risked dehydration because that “swish swish” sound makes me crazy! A friend recommended the Orange Mud hydration pack and I owe her BIG! I’ve been using it for a month and it is beyond awesome. No swishing sound and more important, I’m hydrated on the long runs plus I now have my phone and nutrition with me (fits great in the pack) which I also used to leave behind because I don’t like to carry anything when I run. I’ve found that I forget I’m wearing it at times - it’s super lightweight! I love it! In fact, I’m ordering the Adventure Pack now for the really really long stuff! Thank you Orange Mud for such a great product!

Comfortable low profile pack!

I was a little hesitant about comfort and fit especially through the chest area as other similar packs were not. But I ordered it since the return policy sounded great. I watched a fit video, and adjusted accordingly. Took it on a mountain bike ride and within 30 minutes, I forgot I had a pack on! I was able to get to everything I needed without taking the pack off, plus I was still able to get to my jersey pockets in the back without taking the pack off. Holds plenty of water for longer rides, and holds extra gloves, vests, etc. for cold morning starts.

Great pack

Love the fit and lack of bounce with this pack. The weight is distributed where it is easy to carry.

So far, so good.

I am still getting used to running with this pack. It is comfortable even though I have quite broad shoulders. It does not bounce around at all, and the shoulder/front pockets are easy to access even while running. I thought for sure that it would chafe, and it did not. The back pockets are nice and large, but really are not accessible while wearing the vest. None of the shoulder/front pockets are really made for a phone, although the larger, drawstring pockets do work. They just aren't phone-shaped, and current-era smart phones are going to stick out the top by an inch or so. The giant phones like the iPhone Plus and the Galaxy may be too large to easily get in and out of the pockets. The higher pockets that face forward/downward with a velcro strap... I don't know what I would use these for. They are too small for a phone or a small camera. It would be nice if at least one of these had a full-width strap or cover. I would have to say that the pack is not as tech-friendly as it could be, though it can work with some thought. The shock cord and snap strap arrangement for carrying poles or other gear is conceptually good, if not as easy to use as it could be. I don't know exactly what I would be looking for, for carrying poles; I just know this isn't quite it. Until I find it, though, this set-up will do fine. Of all the packs I have seen, this is still my first choice.
