I am an assistant principal at an elementary school and I have to carry a huge walkie talkie, my phone, and an elaborate set of keys on my person as I go about my day. The Gear Quiver has been the perfect addition to my wardrobe. I have a single bottle Quiver for my long run days on the weekend, and could also see the benefit of using the Gear Quiver on short run days when I want to have my big phone with me but don't need to carry water as well. I love that it doesn't have a chest strap and that the pack is flat. It's the perfect size for my needs.

I was looking for a new way to store my phone. The running belt I had worked okay, but needed to be adjusted very tightly in order to prevent bouncing.
When I first got the gear quiver, I was concerned about the straps as I like to run with sleeveless shirts. After using it a handful of times, I have had zero issues with chafing and the pack doesn’t bounce around at all. When packed with a mobile phone, car keys, and gels, it is light enough that you don’t even notice it is there.

I'm very impressed with the Gear Quiver. My partner recently got a Hydraquiver Single Barrel, and when she did I knew I had to see what Orange Mud had for me.
The Gear Quiver has been ideal. It's small and simple and straightforward, yet also very versatile. I've worn it about ten times now – I wear it both for my long-ish runs and also just out to the pullup bars in my local park.
It's been great for keeping my phone out of my hands when running, and it gives me a better option for it than in the pocket of my gym shorts when I'm doing pullups (where it tends to bounce around annoyingly). I sometimes walk to the grocery store in the mornings after my pullups, and the Gear Quiver gave me a great place to store my wallet, saving me a trip back to the apartment first.
I'm also very happy with what a great solution it is for hydration. I use it with the 1-liter bladder, and they make a great pair.
It's Florida and summertime, so I usually need about half a liter of water per hour. When my handheld bottle runs out, I now have a backup – I'm even able to refill my handheld bottle once with the water from the bladder (the bladder itself has enough tension that merely squeezing the bite-valve will permit enough flow for me to fill by bottle in about 45 seconds) before I begin to drink from the bladder itself. I just tuck the valve into the shoulder pocket until I need to start doing that. Altogether, the bladder gives me another hour out before I need a total refill, and it's still…

I've used this pack for trail runs up to 2 hours with a handheld bottle. It holds my phone, Garmin inReach mini, and a couple Clif Bars. No chafing or bouncing issues.
