Do you want to have a way to secure your jackets and shirts at the base of your HydraQuiver Single Barrel? Or do you need a replacement for the HydraQuiver Double Barrel cord and cord lock? Well we have the kit for you! See below for installation instructions, though you can affix this in a few different ways. We believe this is best for the strongest and most reliable hold. 

Note this is for the current model of HydraQuiver Single Barrel only. See video below. If you have the area on the pack that we showcase in the video you're set! If it's the older model with the reflective strip it can be made to work, but isn't ideal. 

Step 1: Run the cord through as pictured below.

Cord and cord lock work well

I got this because the HydraQuiver I ordered didn't have one. So, I guess my only issue is that I wonder why it just included as it is with other packs. It was easy to weave it in by following the instructions, but it just seems like it could be included and not sold separately.

Works so far?

Seems a bit thin for $4 but it works so far. If I had thought to look around for another option that seemed a little more sturdy, I would have. I worry that if I tighten it too much or if whatever is stowed away bounced too much, it might rip through the anchor points.

Put a bow on it.

Living in an area where weather can change 20 degrees over the course of a run means shedding or adding layers. This cord upgrades my OM Single Barrel to hold a shell and occasionally an empty handheld water bottle. Looks like it will last many miles.
