The Endurance Pack is a fantastic piece of gear to take you a long ways. But when the weather turns terrible, your gear requirements are larger, or if you just want to have the ability to hold more gear, we have a solution for you. This add on pack creates an additional 4 Liters of storage to the rear of the pack. It attaches via webbing at the top, and through the nylon web at the bottom. It's best for light jackets and layers, not heavy bulky items.
Additionally, it comes with the shock cord and trekking pole hardware already attached.
As an added bonus, you're not just adding another pack to your gear, you're creating a pack that can be used for multiple purposes.

Add on Bag for Endurance Pack is great for additional storage for long runs, mountain bike rides or hikes. Holds extra gloves, hat, jacket, rain pants etc. used it for an ultra in the Faroe Islands to hold required gear.
I ordered the add on bag, because is was doing my first 50 mile Ultra and needed to carry more items. I do think it could use velcro at the top, so nothing falls out on accident.
This add on pack was just enough to hold what I needed for the 20 mile I did this past weekend. The added trekking pole attachments were clutch when I didn't want to use them anymore. It like I didn't even know they were back there! Great product definitely recommend it if purchasing an Endurance pack!
I recently ran a 100 miler and was concerned that I wasn't able to put enough of my necessities in my endurance pack (food, powder nutrition, sunscreen). I was looking for a larger pack but realized the next size up would be too big. I happened to stumble across the 'add on bag' and had to have it. I've only used it once since receiving it and it's perfect. It was easy to 'install' once I figured out what I was doing. I have used a chip clip to hold the opening at the top together but I think velcro will solve that. If you're on the fence, get it!!!
My version 3 endurance pack is by far the best hydration pack I've ever owned! It barely feels like you are wearing it! I also opted for the extra gear bag to stash a light windbreaker and I love that this vest doesn't bounce not only that but the straps across the chest aren't elastic like most vests or packs which eventually lose their elasticity. Overall I would highly highly highly recommend this vest and I would definitely buy it again and other products of Orange Mud.
