It will go the distance

I bought this pack as I was training for the Tahoe 200 endurance run. It was perfect not only for the training but for the race, which took me through country around Lake Tahoe. With aid stations that were 15-20 miles apart, and variable mountain weather, I needed something that would carry my gear and plenty of water. It was perfect!

I bought a second one for my husband, and we use them now for fastpacking adventures, hiking 14ers, and just running around the neighborhood on hot days.

It's an awesome pack!

OUTSTANDING

This is perfect for me at 6' 180 lbs. More than enough space for jacket and other items (first aid, kit, jacket, and consumables. Once cinched, this pack sits snugly between my shoulders with little to no pressure. From the beginning I new the design was first rate.

I also recognized I needed to modify the pack, to allow for quick adjustment of the pack straps to get underway. The "tabs" to snug the pack, are almost impossible to grab, I had to add 550 cord to it. Once this was completed. The pack is perfect for me.

Great job!

You'll want your own!

I did it, I bought my very own Orange Mudd daypack and shortly after it arrived, I was sent a wonderfully energetic email from the owner, Josh, congratulating me on my purchase and welcoming me to the Orange Mudd family. For a month, I have been strategically breaking it in for a Rim-to-rim hike in the Grand Canyon at the end of Aug. I am very particular, a bit sensitive to straps, seams and the like, with that, said, I love this pack! It's comfortable, sits perfectly on my back, the weight is distributed well, the pockets and compartments are not too big and not too small! It's a definite must-have in my book. I look forward to the journey ahead. Thanks, Josh (and Josh's wife) for a great pack!

Bought for my sister

I love my endurance pack so when my sister in Australia wanted a large pack to run to/from work I knew what she needed....I got her to try a few different brands of packs first but I was right-she choose this pack for her commute running and loves it.

perfect for run commuting and long races

I purchased this when I decided to take up running specifically with the goal of running to work. Its just the right size when the top isn't expanded to hold my packable down coat for the trip home and anything else I need to bring with me and then option to expand the bag by unrolling the top is perfect for when I have a lot of things at work that need to come home with me. The front pockets are perfect for stashing water and snacks for days I do my long run on the way to work. I also used it for my first half marathon (Millinocket half) and had no issues with the bladder freezing up (temp in the teens and it took me nearly 3 hours) and was able to carry an extra layer (that thankfully I didn't need) and put my nanospike in it once I was off the Golden Road. Its a larger bag that most would probably use for a half but since I had trained for the half with my long runs on my way to work it made sense to race with it too. Every time someone asks about running pack/hydration vest etc I send them to Orange Mud!
