After working out, what do you do with your sweaty and wet clothes? Stick them by your shoes or other clean clothes? Negative....try our velcro secured, removable, interior bags.

The outside shell uses a ballistic nylon that was originally designed to protect WWII fighter pilots from flying shrapnel. It's strong, very strong. It also is resistant to high heat, 356F to soften, 410F to melt. Irrelevant info I know, but it's tough, we're proud of that.

Most gym bags and triathlon bags are too small, we made ours roughly 20% to 30% larger than normal. The removable shoe compartment doubles as a changing mat. The removable large bag is for wet clothes, and the small bag is for toiletries. A vibrant orange interior makes finding your stuff a breeze and the four exterior pockets are designed for function and clean lines.

As seen in Men's Journal, "The Only Gym Bag You Need".

  • Removable Dirty Clothes and Essentials Bag
  • Removable Shoe Bag / Changing Mat
  • Heavy Duty Materials and Metal Hardware

    • Shell: 1680D Ballistic Nylon (Camo is 1000D)
    • Straps: 2" industrial seat belt webbing, with steel hardware.
    • Zippers: YKK, best in the business.
    • Size: 22"L x 14"W x 12"T / Volume: 3390 c.i./55 Liter

A bag for all my stuff

Really impressed with the modular bag. It’s well thought out and constructed. I don’t really do the gym or tris, but couldn’t be happier with this bag for my trail and travel needs. Took it to Ragnar and it easily held everything I needed and I was able to find everything even in the dark thanks to the many pockets/bags - it even has space for putting away the sweaty/dirty stuff after... which my team mates were grateful for. This will be my go-to bag whether I’m headed out for a longer trip or just a short trail run and need change of clothes to go to work after. Definitely recommend!

High Quality Bag with Great Features

This is a perfect gym bag. Well, nothing's perfect. It's expensive, but you get what you pay for. It's just the right size for day to day carrying stuff to and from home, work, and gym. It is just the right size to fit in a standard gym locker. I am currently training for an Ironman, so many days I have two workouts scheduled. It has enough space to put a biking kit, a running kit (with shoes) and my office clothes for the day. Granted, I don't put my swim stuff in here, as I have a separate mesh bag for that. But I have a bunch of junk in there anyway, like paddles, floats, fins, etc. No point in carrying that stuff around.

Everything about the bag is high quality -- straps, zippers, etc. It also looks very cool. And for those who know -- Orange Mud has a Leadville-inspired bad-assedness factor not found in other mere gym bags.

The best and last gym bag I'll ever own!

I am in love with my Modular Gym & Tri Bag!!! When I first received it, it almost seemed too small, but looks can be deceiving. There are so many interior pockets for extra shoes, sundries, and sweaty clothes, which come in handy for days where I'm hitting multiple swim/bike/run/strength workouts or have a long day out on the trails. The rest of the interior is still quite roomy, yet I don't need to lug around multiple bags or cram everything into a small duffel that starts busting at the seams. The material is incredibly durable too, so I'm sure this will never need to be replaced. Thank you for making one heck of a bag for us endurance athletes to pack all the things we need.

      Great, but not perfect

I love the modular gym bag. It's tough and very functional. The shoulder strap is so overbuilt that I will never worry about it breaking. However, I agree with some other reviews suggesting snaps for the inside bags instead of Velcro. I find the Velcro difficult to use unless I partially reverse the main bag. I was really excited about the shoe compartment until I used it. With the bag loaded, inserting shoes can be a real chore. It isn't sealed from the rest of the bag, so smells, dirt, and other things tend to contaminate the main compartment. I think the shoe compartment needs to be completely sealed at the end and the bottom attached to the floor of the bag. This may remove some of the gimmick, but make it easier to use.

Hey Derrick! Thanks for your feedback! We have considered snaps, but went with velcro for better attachment and it holds the bag up better. Plus snaps often tend to fail over time. The shoe compartment is tricky to use if the bag is overloaded, but by design the bag is generally bigger than most people need and as such we found it was a happy medium in "give you more space than you probably need in this area". It's a trade off of course as most gym bags have too small of a shoe bag area! Valid point on it not being connected, though the main risk is if you have really muddy shoes in that sense. Usually if I do I just don't put them in there or I put them in the dirty clothes bag in the interior. Keep in mind a big function in this compartment was to also make it removable so you can use it as a changing mat at events and training which is why it's sewn on as it is. We have considered having the entire side connected with a zipper closure though which would at least fix the dirt issue and potentially a bit of smell (though smell is likely a risk even if it was sealed). Thanks so much for the feedback!
