A highly breathable and durable mesh yields maximum heat release in a tough package. The pack is stretchy, but has a balance of maintaining form while allowing plenty of movement. This pack is excellent for carrying your fluids while running and riding. The front harness is stretchy so you can breathe during movement.
  • Mountain Bike: Extremely stable on your body across the choppy stuff, and we extended the shoulder area a bit to allow freedom of movement. 4 front pockets allow for quick access of your essentials on the fly.
  • Running: Short runs or as long as you want to go. This hydration pack is loaded with features to take you any distance.
  • Hiking: The conforming fit and quick access pockets paired with a very breathable frame means hiking bliss.

Fit: This pack is designed to be friendly with your curves. Just slide the sliders up and down to find the optimal fit and adjust the sides snug. Max chest size is around a 42” chest. But.....guess what! We just got in a shipment where we added 8" per side of adjustment. So now you can go up to a 52" chest easily for run and ride, or 54" or so for run! Just please put in the order notes that you want the larger straps and we'll make sure we ship this way.

The BOMB!

This pack is extremely functional and super comfortable without sacrificing unneeded sway while running. I'm a larger endurance runner at 6'1 and 190lbs, and it still fits my shoulders and have enough room for everything you'd need in a afternoon jaunt. 5 stars for sure.

A GREAT pack for going the distance.

I wore this pack for the Bigfoot 100k in Southern Washington. It held all of my things including poles (with the added attachment) and was perfect for a longer race with less frequent support (aid was ~18 miles at 2 points). I will likely use this on an unsupported 40+ run due to the 70oz bladder, ease of bringing a phone, water filter, poles and extra clothes all in a light yet durable design that sits HIGH on the the back between the shoulder blades (not mid back like many packs). The fit requires a little adjustment, but there's enough straps (including 2 across chest) that you can dial in the fit well. Bonus points for the cool color - I've gotten many positive comments on this. Last, I didn't get chafing or bouncing, which are my 2 main concerns with a bladder-based pack, despite logging 68 miles over 22+ hours.

Orange Mud continues to make great products - I've got the single and double barrels too, and this pack doesn't let you down. It's perfect, in a small profile, for the longest unsupported runs (not fastpacking) where you need to pack clothes, food and poles and are filtering water.

Embedded water

The backpack I bought from you guys allows up to 3.5 liters of water on the run: 2 l in the bladder, and 1.5 l in two 0.75 bottles, although I usually train with two 0.5 bottles. The front pockets allow, thus, 0.75 bottles and probably even a little more. So plenty of water on the run.

You may wonder why I am so into this. I once ran out of water on the heights and it was bad. And then, is this race: http://www.2x2race.com/en/2x2/

45k on a ridge and only two support points.

So far, running up to 16k training courses, over 100k in total:

Fabulously compact capacity of water transport

No chafing, no shakes, great fit - just make sure you always pull firmly the strings and fits.

The firm, trustful feeling when wearing. This is not a "responsive" bra, this is a solid, no-stretch vest. The only stretching items are the cords in front.

It looks great :D

It fist greatly my phone - I am fan of small screen smartphones, so my SE fits perfectly in one of the shoulder pockets. Yet, no matter how I fit the vest, it provokes a small achy point on my shoulder. The other shoulder, where I have the car key or smaller hard items, does not create any trouble at all. So I guess it's because of the joint effect of the combination between human body physiology, the phone's rigid surface and pocket's position. I would design a version with the shoulder strap a little longer and the shoulder pocket a little below, to fit better in the upper part of the chest, in case the smart user decides to…

Best vest I have owned

I have a good selection of vests - from larger 10-20L backpack to very light ultra vests. All of them had issues. Either the chest pockets would keep slapping my chest, or they would chafe (nect, shoulders, lower back).

Not with this vest. It fits tight, it fits well, tested it with various tshirts, tanks, shorts, tri shorts, running, biking, never had an issue. Lots of room to fit lots of stuff, and I use it either with soft flasks in the front or the large reservoir. I usually carry a wide selection of bars / gels / salt caps - I have been very happy with all the pockets. I also use the pole attachment - works very well.
