Gear Vest, 2L V2.0: Ideal for running, biking, triathlon

Great product that fits well if the time is taken prior to running to ensure comfort. No friction rub, but it is difficult to tighten down in the shoulder straps while in the process of running. This could be due to lack of shoulder flexibility (or my genetically superior lats--jk...), but one thing to note is that while you run and drink from the bladder, the fit changes and you must adjust midrun. It hasn't been too hug of a problem yet because I've just been sinching down the chest straps; however, the chest straps will loosen up over time, which is normal--a simple fix could be just adding a quick over-under knot as like a safety not to prevent "slippage." In the end, I have loved this vest so far and it has come in clutch for my long training runs during the humid Virginia days. Downside is the "pocket" in the front is just a laced bungee vs a real pocket.

For me, this vest has enough capacity for a marathon. The bladder holds sufficient water and I use one of the bigger front pockets for a smaller bottle with electrolyte fluid. The other front pocket holds multiple gels. I use one of the shoulder pockets for my car key. There are plenty of adjustable straps to ensure a proper fit. Notwithstanding all of the room, it's light and smaller than Nathan vests. I'm quite happy with it.

Did not expect this vest to be as comfortable as it is! I’ve taken ig on several 15+ mile runs with no chafing or other problems. The water bladder is so easy to clean because of the wide mouth. Very happy!

I’ve been switching between this pack and my PFV pack and it’s always a tough decision. Love them both for different reasons. I do think this one has a smoother ride overall. But like I said, it’s a tossup. This is my definite go to for 10+ miles. It’s just a “forget you have it on” pack. All my gear from orange mud is great and well supported.

It was perfect for running! I have been training a downhill run and it’s always a hustle to carry a 500ml on my hand, I tried belts but still not satisfied as it shakes in my waist kept adjusting. This one made it so far the best choice… 1 L of fluid just perfect, not too heavy, my iPhone fits into the front pocket, few gel & nutrition.. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
