The Gear Vest Pro is designed to be small on your back, but big on storage for endurance events. We took the same tiny footprint of our Gear Vest, but added rear cargo like the Endurance Pack (but we actually made it a bit more roomy than the EP so you can really load this up!). Plus we added trekking pole attachment areas on the front and back in 8 locations.
 
This pack is fantastic for running and riding short to super long distances. The 1L/35oz included bladder in the back has a typical range for most of 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours, but you can add soft flasks up front to increase your range. The oversized chest pockets hold plus sized phones, arm warmers, glasses and such wonderfully too, and the shoulder pockets are great for backup nutrition, sunglasses, gels, electrolytes and more.
 
The key to fit, cinch the sides first, not the front, until you feel the pack anchor on your shoulders. Then adjust the front harness as needed so you can breathe during movement.

Fits soft flask in 500ml (500ml-LINK) and 600ml (600ml-LINK) in the front chest pockets. Optional Trekking Pole Hardware Link

Gear vest pro

I absolutely LOVE my new gear vest. I freeze the bladder so I’ll have the cool on my back all morning. The front pockets are perfect for the flexible flasks that I use for my electrolyte drinks, and the bright green is a fun color, too. :) Five stars!

Hands free fun and hydration on the run !

I absolutely love this pack and the size . It could go anywhere from a 5k , marathon , to a shorter Ultra . I have used it on the road and for a short trail 5k that went up in elevation and then down a trail with loose shale . I was able to carry Old Glory , and stay hydrated without worrying about using my hands . It is perfect. I thank my friend Alex Terril who is an ambassador for Orange Mud. , for letting me check out hers during our 44 mile race .

Gear vest pro

Took a bit to get used to it but it is definitely my go to pack for riding. The big plus is that it sits so high that you stay way cooler with this pack than any other I have used.

Best Of The Best

I must have tried 10 different hydration vests leading up to the Spartan Ohio Trifecta Weekend. This one was hands down the best in all areas. Size, compartments, capacity, looks, everything. Top notch. Sturdy as hell. Tested it on a seriously tough course and it stood up like a champ. 10/10 would recommend.
